Federal Trophy Bonded Bearclaw

Anyone used these? I saw a commercial on some old videotapes of my uncle's, and was wondering if these work well, I saw some on websites that sell ammo.

I've shot 'em out of my 308, and my gun hates them. They shot patterns at 100 yards, not groups. They are a good big game bullet for sure though!

I shot a few deer with them in the 223. They acted more like a 6mm with their performance.

Hmmmm..... that's something to keep in mind, and a bullet to keep in mind as an option in case I ever go on an elk hunt.

A great bullet if they shoot out of your gun. More than you'll ever need for deer ,but it's nice to be able to sight in a rifle for one good load and not worry about what your quarry is.

I hate em. They build pressure fast as a barnes original X, Marginally accurate, and will copper foul a bore worse than any bullet I ever saw, due to thier copper makeup. Lastly, very expensive, but all that said, probably one of the best terminal performance on elk and moose, you could ask for.
