I like a nice, privately owned gun shop, the atmosphere is amazing

I work occasionally at the local gun shop. Anyone whos spends too much time there willeventually works there too. Not such a bad job and helps pay for rifles and pistols. Most people know each other and can go in the back and see there gun while paying it off. There are always stories to listen to and new things to look at.

At the shops I frequent I don't chit chat with much of anyone. I get what I want,do my order, pick up my order or get on the rangeand skidaddle.

Myself I think most who hang out there too much are a bunch of blow hards. See them plenty of times when I come in, but they're never on the range or do I see them at the outdoor ranges. Don't seem to see them with their wallets out much either, just the jiber-jaber.

Then you got to look out for the younger ones who seem to be way too observant about all the goings on. Gotta wonder what their priorities are.

stupid question here. There is no gun shops around here for about 50miles. Walmart has the Leupold i want, is their something wrong with buying from their?
I Bought mine and my brothers guns their and we love them. Thanks

Wow, A Leupold at Walmart? The ones near me have the lower end Tasco and Bushnells. Check Cabelas and Bass Pro to see if they are inline on their prices. The you need to fugure in the savings on shipping. I wouldn't have a problem with buying a high quaility scope from them. Just don't let somebody on here try to tell you they are factory seconds like some folks' believe their guns are.
