Pistol permit

I am going to purchase a pistol permit here soon and I was just going to buy the $25 one that lasts a couple years untill you have to re-new it. I live in Indiana, and a guy told me he purchased a lifetime permit for somthing like $120 bucks and if this is true this is the route Im going to go so I dont have to worry about it again. Any of you have a lifetime pistol permit and if so how much did it cost? thanks.

States vary alot on this. Plus, lawmakers give-eth & lawmakers take-eth away. I would not trust a politician (hock-ptuii!) for lifetime anything.

Mississippi'sconcealed carrypermitis $127 for the first 4 years then $100 per 4 year period after that.

So yeah, states vary a lot.
