RE: There any point in keeping the boxes guns come in?
I would keep them. You might decide to sell them down the road.

I toss them. I don't have room to keep empty boxes around that do nothing more than take up space.

Ditto Briman. I don't have enough room for the guns much less the boxes too.
Unless you are selling premium guns that have been shot none to very littlethey aren't going to add much of anything to the value if selling. You aint gonna get anything extra foraRemington SPS with 2500 rounds through it just because you have the green box. And if you need a box to ship one you can get boxes from nearly any gun shop cause we throw them away every day because most people don't keep them. Same with bows. Now if it's a hard case like what most handguns come in, Benellis, Berettas, etc...then I do keep it. |

keep your model 70 winchester boxes, if you don't want them or plan to chuck them, please let me know...I will take them gladly.

RE: There any point in keeping the boxes guns come in?
I had an offer of $75.00 for my Winchester box since the New Haven ,Conn. I have a feeling that we'll see win Mod 70s again, if not in conn, then in Japan. Not really sure what that would do to the value of the boxes, but I certainly don't see the quality of the product going down if the Winchester mod 70 and model 94 get licensed for manufacture in Japan. |
