.22 cal. rifle info
 

Just was passed down a .22 cal. rifle and am unable to find any info on it.

It is a .22 cal. bolt action Mossberg Model 340 KC-also need a clip for this rifle. Rifle is in very good condition and shoots very good. Any info, etc. would be appreciated.

The Model 34 was a take down bolt action single shot made 1934-1935
The model 340K was a hammerless bolt action repeater made 1958-1971
The model 340 M was the same gun with a Manlicher stock
I believe the KC stands for the K model with a clip. Midway or Wisners should have a clip for it. Probably worth between 100 and 175 bucks. Hope that helps

Hi, This is bjhunter here, and i am very fimilar with .22 cal.s. I am not very fimilar with mossbergs but just keep your gun clean esspeacially in the chamber area so it does not jamm up.
