I wish I could be there and see the shells, or whatever they load it with. I bet the whole ground shakes.

I think that counts as a cannon. And ammo for that has got to be ridiculous.

I don't believe it uses a shell. These punt guns were mounted to the front of the boat and used to take out multiple waterfowl for the market. They really destroyed some populations.

They loaded just like a cannon, but instead of ball or grapeshot, they used birdshot or things of that nature.
