He says he is $350 firm and i like the gun but don't wana get ripped off. What do you guys think?

RE: sears model 53A (winchester model 70 30-06)
Seems to me that Sears Winchesters were marketed after the switch was made in 1964, ('67 or '68 I think). If it shoots well, it might be worth what you'd pay for a good usedhunting rifle. I don't think it'd be worth much as an investment.I'd go with the Gun Trader's Guide recommendation.

RE: sears model 53A (winchester model 70 30-06)
I Have a 53 in 270 Win. I Bought it for 175.00 with 3x9 Tedwilliam scope. I tookthe scopeoff bought a Synthetic ramline stock for a Win Model 70 on ebay for 20.00. Replaced the scope and have a no frills deer rifle for under 300.00. I shot 4 deer with it this year. I am not the label buying guy. In reality it is a model 70. I bought it from a girl who's dad had passed away and she had it in the closet for along time. I figured I could not replace it for that.
