RE: Rem. BDL 700 vs Tikka T3 Stainless
I own both Tikka and Rem BDL model rifles. Mind you my Tikka's are older models but shoot as good as my sendaro, and BDL rem's and I didn't have to float the barrels because they came that way. The Tikka's have a way better trigger in them then the BDL and it is easier to set also. One fact that you might or might not know about Tikka's is that they are now owned by Berreta...And Berreta is the oldest firearms manufacture in the world...So that said if Tikka is so good that Berreta bought them out then I go with the Tikka because you are get alot more for your money in the long run!!! TIKKA shooter for life...

RE: Rem. BDL 700 vs Tikka T3 Stainless
i own a new tikka t3 in 270 win. i think its about the best buy on a rifle .
i also have own a remington bdl 270 ,i've been hunting with it for 10yrs.
its a good gun ,but i payed as much for it 10 yrs ago as i paid for the tikka this yr. both guns are lefthanded. the tikka out shot the remington in the first group fired. the tikka has by far the best trigger. the main reason i bought it was SS and the synthetic stock . it also helps that the t3 weighs a pound less and recoil seems alittle less. the rings that came with the tikka are fine ,just don't plan on a big objective scope with them ,a 40mm is all that will work.

While I'm all about buying American & I have been a lifelong Remy fan, you gotta go with the Tikka....Those Fin's are putting out a fantastic quality product. My next rifle will be a Tikka.
