LOLI thought I was the only one who felt that way about my guns. I like the a-bolt ok but have no use for the 243.

My A-Bolt in .270 has served me very well. Just finished some of the fruits of it's labor. Backstraps on the grill!

My browing eurobolt w/boss in 243 winchester has killed 17 straight whitetails and a few coyotes along the way. I have been very pleased with it. It is also one of the most accurate rifles I have ever shot.

I've never owned a Browning rifle but that may change in the near future. I've been wanting a .260 Rem for a long time and the local gunshop has a Browing a-bolt chambered in .260that makes my mouth water everytime i go in there. It's been on the shelf for quite a while now and it just keeps begging me to take it home. It has a syn stock which i'm not too crazy about but i could get past that because it's a good looking rifle and shoulders well. If i don't stay away i know i'll probably end up with it in my gun safe.

Is it the 243 in general that is not liked for coyote or does the A-bolt chambered in a 243 have a bad wrap.

There is nothing at all wrong with the .243 for deer and coyotes.
