the superredahawk stonger but the again it holds a 454 casull round as well. custom 5 shots would be stonger and so would the freedom arms. not sure about the dan wessons

The Ruger Super Blackhawk is a very strong revolver and can handle very hot loads.In a older Speer manual it had loads for the T/C Contender and Ruger SBH which are pretty hot loads..The 44 Special can be fired in the SBH or any 44 mag for practice.If you want a Single Action the Ruger SBH or Blackhawks in general are great guns.Taking the original factory grips off and putting Pachmayr's or Hogue's on it makes it allot more comfortable to shoot,especially shooting hot handloads.
