I'm bored
 

I decided today i need a new gun. I enjoy shooting the ones i have now and they shoot well but im getting bored with them. Looking for something to play with somewhat. Either centerfire or rimfire is ok. Ive got all the rimfire cartridges covered and have quite an array of centerfires. Looking for something to reload and play with. Inteded purpose is pretty much paper right now but depending what calibers are suggested i can match it to game in the future.

Are you thinking of spending a ton of cash on it?

If you want something that's ridiculously expensive, and no one else has, get an M-2 Johnson Carbine, it's a WWII American para-trooper rifle that has a barrel that screws on, it looks really cool, Cabela's has one on their online gun library last I looked. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/content/community/gun_inventory/inventory/owatonna/miscellaneous/509646_johnson_owa.jsp

Thanks for the reply. Not looking to spend terrible amounts of money. Lets say 1000 give or take a little. Rifles only just incase anyone wants to throw some spendy o.u. on here.

How about a small centerfire. You should look into the 22 rem fireball or the new 17 rem fireball. They are a lot of fun to shoot and extremely accurate.

If you are considering a custom built rifle try the 20 VT on for size its a sweet little bugger. Or you could have a rifle chambered in 6 BR.

You should get a gun in 6.4x284 Norma Magnum, that's a sweet varmit round from what I hear.

I wont get into guns and modles ill just talkrifle calibers (excluding rimfires). Alright here we go. 17 rem, 22 hornet, 222, 223,22-250,243, 6mm,257 rob,25-06,270,7mm-08,308,30-06,300 wby,45-70,450 marlin. Rimfires ive got 22 s,l,lr 22mag, 17m2 and 17hmr, no handguns yet. If wondering how a youngman has some many guns? My grandfather was a dealer andcollector for over 50yrs,out of all of us 9 grandkids the thing left to me was his "collection" i did let some go to the other family members but i kept most, all are in good opperable condition and are shot fairly regularly. Not all of the guns came from him some where mine to start.There are many handgunsthat i will recieve upon my 21st birthday(all permits and things also).And there is one more im not sure where to put. its a 6x47 benchrest gun. from what i understand it has to do with the 222 case but i havent found much on it and havent shot it because i have not yet found ammo for it. i was told once there is alot of ammo loaded for it. just have to go through his shop tofind it
