Browning BPS Stalker
 

Has anyone had experiance with this gun?

My uncle was talking about introducing bobwhites on his lease, and I'm pretty excited, I know it'll take them several years to really take off, but in the meantime, is this the gun I should be saving up for?

The Browning BPS is an excellent choice. For me it’s the only choice in that price range. The ejection is from the bottom so you won’t be plinking your buddy’s in the head with empty shells if you duck hunt in a blind.

Do yourself a favor and pick up a Remington 870 and a Mossberg 500 and pump the action. Then pump the action on the Browning. You will hear a clear difference in the mechanics of the receiver.

If you have the extra jack down the road, buy the Browning slug barrel for the BPS. I can drive tacs with mine at 75 yards using Federal Tru Balls. At 100 yards I’m still well with in the kill zone. A couple inches at most. Good luck and enjoy.

I have had several bps as well as 870s,wins,etc. The bps is my all time favorite pump(after model 12 of course). I have NEVER seen one of them jam. Great function with tight tolerances and class is a hard combo to beat.

I've had a BPS stalker for about 15 yr's. I'm a lefty so the bottom ejection and tang safety make it south-paw friendly. The flat black finish and stock allows me to hunt turkeys without having it camo'ed. I've never seen a more solidly made shotgun. In my opinion, its the best pump made today. It's a gun that you won't wear out.

Are the other BPS's good? Besides the composite Stalker.

Same quality inside.Polished bluing, walnut stock on the outside.

A BPS is a BPS. Only difference in the various models is basically the stock. Only pump guns I'd buy would be the BPS or the Ithica M37.
