RE: What iron are you packin'
I carry an HK P2000 .40 S&W for the most part. SometimesI go with aKahr K40 Covert (especially in the summer), or a Kel Tec P-3AT for light duty (runningthe dog around).

RE: What iron are you packin'
Well todayI carried a Glock 35 to work cause there was a hint of possible trouble brewing, though nothing happened, thank God! It usually lives in the car. I would normally have a KelTec 380 due to size considerations, or maybe a Glock 23, but that 35 just seems to be a can't miss gun, with plenty of power, and plenty of ammo!

RE: What iron are you packin'
Usually my SPringfield XD 4" sevice in 45 ACP and my Taurus 617 2.5" 7-shot 357. I sometimes carry .38+P loads, depending on situations,in the Taurus though. Maximize the efficency of powder burn, less recoil and better accuracy past 20 yds. I used to carry a 9mm, but after having to use it, I will never trust that caliber with my life again. Luckily a good friend was with me and had more of a punch to deliver. It is all a matter of personal preferance, what is comfortable to wear, and ease of employment from whatever position you may have to draw from. I can tell you that equally important as to what you carry is what you carry it in. Can make the differance between life and death.

Jerry was that a two legged or 4 legged threat, I wouldn't be asking but any failure to stop is a concern to me and everyone else who carries for protection. I've always felt that a .22 in the hand beat a .44 in the safe everytime. I tend to carry my little Kel Tech 380 often since it's so easy to conceal. Glenn
