RE: Scoping my sniper rifle cheap!
The "M-24" I am set up to receive in January is the police sniper version. I'm not sure how it is that he's able to sell it to me, but I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth.
I'm also only looking for a cheap temporary scope, not a different rifle. From what I've seen and felt from the police weapon, I'm excited about what I'll be doing with it soon. My only problem is finding a cheap scope that's still good enough for the rifle to do it justice for two years or so, until I can afford a top of the line model. Screw the 10 ring, keep them in the zero!!! |

RE: Scoping my sniper rifle cheap!
If you want cheap, how about a Tasco?<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
Seriously though, my cousin has a Tasco Varmit model on his coyote gun and likes it so far. They have mil-dot recticles and adjustable objectives. I they're available as 2.5-10X or 6-24X. $80 at www.midwayusa.com. That's the only place I found them online. I've got a Tasco World Class 2-8X on my slug gun and it hasn't given me any problems in the 3 years I've had it. --- Live: Oregon, IL Hunt: Knox County, IL ![]() ![]() |
