Trigger Adjustment

Can the trigger on a Remington Sendero and the Remington Model ADL be adjusted? Thanks!

Yes, to some extent they can be. But, they are not ment to be adjusted by the average gun owner. The work needed to get them lightened and smoothed is usually best left to a gunsmith.

I had the trigger adjusted on my Sendero. You can find instructions at www.snipercountry.com

What pins are you refering to? The only one pin that needs removing is the trigger pivot pin. The only other items needing removal are the adjustment screws on the front, which are usually only "loctited".

What do you guys think of the Sendero, is it a really heavy gun and how accurate is it?

I really like my Sendero it is a 300 RUM and I am still working on my load but I can see that it can outshoot me. The trigger is adjustable on mine.

Yes it's on the heavey side but it's made to be fired from a rest or bipod.
The accuracy can rival that of custom built guns when you find the right load for it. Handloading helps a bunch in that area.

Mine is a 300 WIN and I can get 5 holes to touch each other at 100 yds with 180gr Sierra Matchking bullets.

I to shoot a sendero in 300 rum. I was able to do some minor tweaking to my trigger and get the pull down around 3-4 lbs. Timmeny make an after market trigger for the 700 sendero with a pull weight of around 2-4 pounds and a choice of a two or three way safety. My sendero is a down right tack driver but is on the heavy side but that helps to keeps the recoil down to an exceptable level.
