I can't speak for the whole line up of Hornady SST's; but in the 130 gr. .270, I found them to be a bit more fragile than the same weight Nosler Ballistic Tip. They don't make an Accubond yet for the .243 (at least that I am aware of), but you might look at the 90 gr. Swift Scirocco. Great tough little bullet with a very good BC for its weight.

After the info that I have received here, I am probably going with my initial plan of using the Federal Premium 100 gr Nosler Partition on deer. I have found any locally, but I know that Midayusa has them. I do love the accuracy of the Win Supreme 95 gr BTs, but I just don't have confidence in them on deer.
