Henry Big Boy Hunting??

Has anyone had any experience with the Henry Big Boy? It is one of the rifles I am considering for deer. Accuracy, reliability, etc.

I wouldn't get it because it only shoots pistol calibers, I think you should look into Marlin lever actions, and Winchesters.
Browning makes a lever action centerfirerifle, too, and it's supposed to be good.

It will work great for deer as long as you stay within .44mag,iron sight limitations. Preferably within 50 yards, not to exceed 75-85 yards.
As 95% of whitetails are shot at this range, you should do just fine.
That said,I fully agree that a rifle with more range will be a MUCH better all around choice.
