sako rifles
I've heard they're accurate.
If you own one I'd like to hear about it. Any pro's / cons? |
RE: sako rifles
I've owned quite a few Sakos through the years. They are as a general rule extremely accurate with excellent triggers. You might want to also check out the Tikkas. They have the same excellent barrels but without some of the spit and polish of the Sako rifles for a good bit of price savings.
As far as cons, I can't think of any. Some folks don't like the extra expense of Sako rings, but you can always use standard rings as well. |
RE: sako rifles
I own 2 Sako 75's and I really like them a lot. They are quality firearms. They have about the best factory trigger you're going to find. Both of mine (a .300 Weatherby and 7mm Rem mag) have been very accurate. I guess if I had to pick the one thing I like about them the most, it would be the way they feel when I shoulder them. They just fit me really well. The stock design with the palm swell pistol grip is just right.

RE: sako rifles
I have a TRG-S in .338 Win. Mag. I shoot Federal H.E. 250Gr.
Partitions. It will consistently shoot 1", three shot groups with this load. I don't see the need to try and improve on this with reloads. This is the best made rifle I have owned, everything about it is very high quality. I will be getting another Sako in the near future, more than likly a Finnlight. |
