Rifle cleaning
 
How much do you think a rifle should be cleaned. Some sayyou should clean alot some say not very often. i've done it both ways still not sure what the best way is but i amthinking every 20 rounds. whats your opinion

I'd say about every 20 rounds, before it's to be stored, and when you take it out after storage. I like mine spick and span, though.

I clean mine after every 5 shots... And at least once a year if I'm not shooting it for a little while;)

I clean mine after every range session andprior to storage. During hunting season usually just prevent but if warranted I will do a full cleaningdue toweather or heavy usage. While in storage I do regular prevents which includes wipe down &re-apply light coat of oil.

I run a patch with oil down my barrel at the end of the day if it has been fired, even if it was fired just once. I also use a cleaning cloth on it.

If I have been in a lot of dust or any form of moisture, I disassemble as much as possible and clean and oil everything. My guns are used frequently enough storage isn't a problem.
