they will work fine...i dont see why you should spend the money on a turkey gun until you know if you like it...use the fullest choke you can find and pattern them with diffrent turkey loads at diffrent ran ges and hunt with the one that patterns the tightest...camo isnt a neccesity just keep the movemnt to a minimum...good luck...i hope i find a girl that i really like that hunts when i am older...15 i can care less what my girls think about hunting ut i dont wanan marry an anti or anything! but deer camp would be horrible with a girl there...but i think it would be nice to have one that hunts..something else to do together...
good luck...go in the spring you both will be hooked life if you are in a good spot and the birds cooperate somewhat...

I agree that camo isn't a neccasity... as for chokes look around for and extra full choke somewhere between .665 - .670 and give some #5 shot a try on a pattern board. If your looking for a GREAT aftermarket choke tube try the Star Dot's. They won't cost you an arm and a leg, got mine at wally world on sale for $19.99. The guns will be fine, just try out some differn't shells and see what works best and what your max range is.
