Ruger Scope Mounts

Does anyone here have thier Ruger rifle handi that can check for me if the scope mounts wrap completely around the scope?

I'm have a fairly sizeable gap between the base and the ring and I'm wondering if that is normal.

I checked all 5 of my Rugers and they all have about .010-.015 gap (about the thickness of 4-5 peices of paper.)

Mine too. I hate Tom brady also !!! I am a Steeler fan I know your team kicked there but sun also. I am guessing they have a great shot at a super bowl.

Sounds about right. I have a Ruger M77 MKII in .338 Win Mag. Very small gaps on both sides. Enough for about 3-5 sheets of paper.
