Smith and Wesson 1500 Rifle
 
Just curious - does anyone own a 1500 chambered in 30-06 - How does this gun perform?

dont have one but i have an uncle that has one in 7mm mag and it has been a great performer, someone mentioned that the guns were actually made by howa, unsure on that, but my uncle has had his for over 20 years and it is still going strong

yea they are made by howa. Infact they arent sold under the S&W trademark anymore. They are marketed by Legacy sports and sold as the Howa 1500 now. they are excellent, probably the only non-european overseas made gun id consider owning.

Howa, makes damn good rifles. I have two, and they are excellent quality, for the price, I am assuming they may soon go up in price, though.
