Do i need something like this in my gun safe.
Do any of you put something like cabelas golden rod or hydrosorbent silica gels in your gun safe. They suck away moisture. Do i need one of these or am i just wasting my money. I will be getting a cheap gun case for christmas and am doubting if it will be sealed well. If i should get something like this, which one should i get or are there any others out there better than this. thanks for your help-Sam

i have one of those big cilica gel things in my gun safe. it works better than nothing at all. but i am leaning twards getting a glow rod before this spring.

i dont use either but the house keeps the humidity under control so there are no wild swings. if you oil you guns properly before you put them in the safe then you probably wont have any problems with out using them
