Default SCOPE COVER?

lookin to get a set of flip-open scope covers should I get the Butler creek set(CABELAS FOR $18.99)or Is the Leupold flip-backs worth the money(CABELAS HAS THEM FOR $39.99 EACH) or recommend something else? THANKS FOR THE HELP.

I think the Leupold set is made to fit only Leupold optics, if I'm thinking of the same one you are. The Butler Creek flip caps are hard to beat for the price, I have them on all of my scoped guns and the glass never gets dirty, fogged or wet. Mine have taken a pretty good beating and they still seal up tight.

Leupold's are designed for their scopes and, IMO, WAY OVERPRICED.

In years past Ive used the Butler Creeks and never had a problem. All I buy now is Bushnells with Rainguard so I dontneed them anymore. What scope do you need them for I may be able to help you.

I have 5 guns with scopes, all with the Butler Creek flip up covers. Never had a bit of problems with them.

I looked at the Leupolds but just couldn't bring myself to fork out that kind of money. I use Butler creek.
