AR-15 flat top iron sights
 

I'm looking for iron sights for my flat-top AR-15. I kind of like the what I see on the Bushmaster web site, but I'm wondering if the same sights are cheaper elsewhere. I'm looking at a B.M.A.S. rear sight (99.95) and B.M.A.S. detachable front flip-up sight (77.50). Anybody been down this road?

My flat top is scoped, but you might find some cheaper sights on gunbroker or at ar15.com in the equipment exchange section.

There is one made by DPMS that is only about $50. Brownell's carrys them. They are the A2 type, but without the whole carry handle. The sight sits on the back 1/3 of the flat top and allows a red dot to be mounted in front, if you wish. I like em.

I put a Wilson Combat rear flip-up sight on mine ($129.95 + shipping). It allows for windage and elevation adjustment, which was what sold me. The only thing I don't like about it is the weight, but that's the price you pay forsteelconstruction vs. aluminum.
