My fiancee has a handi rifle superlite youth, and I was wondering if you could get a fullsize stock to replace the overly small one or if we'll have to get a new rifle. Thanks

Yes you can get just a butt stock. www.hr1871.com If you don't see what you need, call their customer service Dept.

If its a 243 and the case sticks in the chamber after firing, try small base dies. I am trying them in a few weeks. This alledgedly works. EJ

I have had a lot of Handi Rifles and the 243 seems to be the worst for cases sticking. Those with Rimmed cases work best but I had no problem with the 223 or 280 with cases sticking. They have little quirks but most can be easily corretcted.

what's the difference between small case dies and regular ones? She did have a problem with the cases sticking last year, but didn't get any shots off this year so I'm not sure. Her dad reloads shells for her.

The SB dies size the casing down a little more than the standard dies. However this usually shortens the life of the brass somewhat.
