10/22 wrapped barrels
 

I'm looking into building up a custom 10/22. What do you guys think of carbon-wrapped barrels? I would think that they retain heat worse than a standard barrel since carbon fiber doesn't conduct heat well...I understand they add stiffness, but again, any more than a standard full barrel?

Gonna build a 10/22, well you need to go to www.Rimfirecentral.com. It's THE home for anything 10/22. You'll likely find that if you want a good CF bbl, you'll be looking into a Volquartsen. The only other is Butler Creek nd they're well, NOT so good. ;)
carefull though these builds can become very addictive. I started with one and currently have 4 built with at least 4 more coming.

i figured that, i already have a couple, well several ideas for different configurations i want to build...thanks for the help --
