Cleaning stainless steel gun?

I have a Tarus Tracker 357 in satin finish stainless steel. I am having trouble removing all of the fouling on the gun. I am currently using Outers nitro solvent and it does not seem to desolve the black build up on the end of the chambers, around the receiving cone, and around the porting on the barrel. The inside of the barrel appears to come clean with sovent and swabbing. Any suggestions on how to remove the other fouling?
Thanks
MKR

I thought that "stainless" was not suppose to stain?

I have the same problem with my Stainless Ruger Super Blackhawk 44 Mag, I have tried everything, it won't hurt anything, I don't know exactly what it is, or I would have definently tried a different solvent or oil to get rid of it.

Try one of the 'Lead Remover' rags. Worked on my Taurus pistol.

Thanks, kelbro, I'm sure the lead or whatever won't hurt the pistol, but it doesn't look that good.[:'(]
