Well, its pressed into the 870express.Where on the wingmaster, its drilled and tapped proper. So no amount of screwing is woing to take it off.Going to spin. You then have to drill and tap a new thread, and bam its done.

yeah, my gun is less than a year old.

here's the email i got from the sight company:

If you have a 870 your front bead is probably a press fit which it sounds like it is with as much trouble as you are having with it. Which means you are going to have to take the gun to a gunsmith and get the front bead removed and a hole tapped. This sounds much tougher then it really is it takes the gunsmith all of about 30 minutes. Or if that sounds like to big of a pain you can send the sight back to me and I can send you out a replacement that will simply snap on your rib and slide up to your existing bead. Let me know how you would like us to handle this. Thanks for your continued interest in the product and hope to hear from you soon. Have a great day.[/align]Bryce Dunn

Yea, I found out the hard way too.

Guys, another tip for you. Browning golds are nice and threaded, but they put a permiant locktight on, and you have to heat the barrel for it to come out. Also found out the hard way.
