Browning 30-06 questions
I got ahold a Belgium made Browning 30-06 Semi-Auto Rifle. Only marking on the gun are Made in Belgium, Patent Pending, 30-06 Caliber only and 66025 M9. I have gone to Browning website to look up the serial number but have had no luck. Can anyone give me an idea as to when this rifle was made, What model it is and what it may be worth? This is my first Browning, I have heard that the Belgium made are the best? That true?
Thanks Scott |

RE: Browning 30-06 questions
I found out from Browning that it was made in 1969. It has no marking on the sides so i assume it is a Grade 1.

RE: Browning 30-06 questions
It's a fine, fine gun. I have the same one, made in the same year. Out of every rifle I have, this is definitely my favorite.
As for price, depending on condition of course $800-$1200. |
RE: Browning 30-06 questions
what do you shoot out of it? Have you done anything to yours? Im gonna get a Leupold Scope to put on it. Anything you can suggest?

RE: Browning 30-06 questions
I shoot Federal Nosler and Balistics out of it. It has a Redfield 3x9-40 scope with shoot through rings on it. I would suggest getting an extra magazine for it. Also, it holds 4 in the magazine, dont try to put 5 in. 5 is for .270's.
