Savage Fox 12ga. opinions/experience

Found a Savage Fox sxs at local store today for $600?? Looked in good shape other than well used stock. What are these things generally worth? Found several on GunsAmerica for less, but also seemed more beat up. What kind of risk do you take on an older gun like this as far as reliability? Thanks for your input

I used to have a Fox model B SXS. It was very reliable, but it kicked like a mule for some reason. I sold mine for $500 to a friend, that is what I had in it. And this would have been 8 years ago. Good luck

They are great guns. I have one in 12 gauge and one in 20 gauge. I'm not real sure on the prices of them, but $600 sounds high to me.
