Hornady recalled ammunition earlier this year; it's old news.

It may in fact be old news, but ammo from this lot is still out their. I just bought a box of this, and it is from the recalled lot. Just trying to let others know it is recalled.

You're gun dealer doesn't check to see if the ammo they have is recalled?
Why was it recalled?

It was bought at Wal-Mart, and no they didn't check it obviously.

Since you are too lazy to open the link, here is why it is recalled.

Hornady Mfg Company ballisticians have determined that some cartridges from Lot # 3060134 may be under loaded . An under loaded cartridge may result in a bullet remaining in the barrel after firing, causing an obstruction. Firing a second shot with a barrel obstruction from the first shot, will cause firearm damage and may cause personal injury to the shooter and bystanders

Pro or Con?

Dealers/Retailers who put ammo behind the counter, or those who place it on shelves with signs that say do not open boxes...and there's always someone opening boxes everytime you walk by.

No point, just rambling
