Good deal or not?

Anybody see Dick's Sporting Goods flyer this sunday? They had a 870 thumbhole cantilever barrel w/2.5x scope for 299...they also had a CVA optima for like 330 or something like that...which one would be better for shooting whitetails??

Is the thumbhole 870 the camo one? If so the MSRP is like $870.

i personally like the new MZ's better for whitetail, i love shooting blackpowder and the smell after the shot, still a far stratch from the olden times with the new ones but i also think you can getter better range and accuracy from them, but you only got one shot, if thats a problem then a shotgun might suit you better, whichever you feel comfortable with and feel like you can have confidence with, good luck,
