SHOTGUN SIGHTING IN, PLEASE ANSWER
GUYS I HAVE TO SIGHT IN MY REMINGTON 11-87 FULLY RIFLED CANTILEVER SOON. I ONLY HAVE TIME TO SHOOT IT AT OUR 50YD. PISTOL PRACTICE RANGE.
SO HOW HIGH OVER THE BULLSEYE SHOULD I BE AT 50YDS., TO REACH OUT AND STILL BE WITHIN THE KILL ZONE OF A WHITETAIL DEER AT 125/150 YDS? I SAY ABOUT 2 3/4INCHES MAYBE 3INCHES ABOVE THE BULL. |
RE: SHOTGUN SIGHTING IN, PLEASE ANSWER
That sounds about right tome. I would probably stick closer to the 2", that is what mine is and it is about dead on at 100 yards.
Good Luck |

Your guess sounds about right. But, when you are hunting, if possible shoot it at the longer distances, such as 100 yards or so, just to be sure!!
