I found out I won a gun today, but......
 

Back, last year around November or December, I bought a ticket sold by friends of NRA. It was one that goes off for 2 months with a grand prize in Jan of an elk hunt and grand prize in Feb. a quad. All the days in between aredifferent guns and stuff.

My wife was going through the pile of various tickets we've boughtover the last year. She was on the internet checking numbers and found out that I won a Ruger No. 1 in choice of caliber.

The date I hit on was, Jan 1st, 2006.

The ticket says, all winners will be notified. I wasn't.

It also says, All tickets expire after 30 days.


I called one of the guys on the ticket and he said he will get back with me after he talks to the guy that supposedly handles the calls.

So what do you predict will happen?

Good luck, Hope you get your gun. I had some thing like this happen to me before and they told me that it was giving to the runner up and was sorry I miss the opportunity to get the prize.
They did sent me a prize but not what I won, I was piss as helland vented at them because I was not notified about it. I never bought a ticket of any sort after that, well, except for Powerball tickets:D.

I'd say you've got a 50-50 chance! Hopefully, someone will be honest enough to admit that you weren't notified! Good luck!

Surely, they know that when someone wins a gun, they are going to respond when notified.


I'm not one to check tickets. I assume that theclub or whoever,will call the winners. I thought the Friends of NRA would be a reputable organization and call winners. It says right on the ticket also.

The answering machine is on 24/7. And I do sometimes screen calls.

Sounds like my luck...if its a stand up bunch you will get your gun..but who knows. Let us know what happens.

Hope you get it, and if I were you, I'd get it in a caliber that kicks like a mad mule, like a .338 Lapua!:D:D:D:D
