Scope base for Stevens 200 short action?
 

What scope base fits the Stevens model 200 short action. Perferably a 1 piece base. I was looking on midway but they don't list the 200. Is it the same as one of the Savages?

The Stevens 200 is nothing more than a Savage without the Accu-trigger so any bases for Savage rifles will fit the Stevens be careful buying the one piece bases I have had trouble in the past finding a 1 pc. base that will fit Savage "short actions" are not like other rifles they are more like medium actions I hope this helps chad

Also the one piece bases make the rifle harder to load chad

i just bought my bases this week at a gander mtn. i got the ones for a savage 110 two piece one worked just fine with leupold bases with a 3/4 inch rise on the rings easy to load bases and rings were like 20 bucks all together
