Hornady slugs out of an 870
 

I've heard these slugs are amazing. Anyone have any experience with them? I would be shooting them out of an 870 with a rifled barrel.

i have an 870 and these were terrible all over the paper.

I have the short rifled barrel so what i have heard is that they do not shoot slugs that are 1800 + fps well.

anything over 50 yards was 6 to 8 inches off. I tried two different days so it was not me.

My gun shoots the federal and buckhammers the best ....I heard the same thing. at 12 dollars for 5 shots I would save your money

All I can say is, try them inyour 870. They shoot great out of my Nova 12ga and my 13yo son's 870 20ga. He took a doe with one4 weeks ago. One shot, one kill. Here I can get the SST's for about $2 less per pack than most of the other sabots.

I shot them and they were all over the place two ,, coudnt get them to GROUP worth a crap,, I tried this slug called LIGHTFEILD and i was puting holes on top of holes with these slugs .... just my 2 cents......

My gun doesn't like them. (12 gauge H&R Ultra Slug Hunter Deluxe)
