Ruger Compacts??
 

Anyone have any comments, good or bad??!! I know it should shoot well respectively, it is a Ruger!? Mostly what I am looking for is how the recoil treats ya with a 260 Rem??? Looking at picking one up for me when it is cold out and for my daughter when she gets big enough in a couple years..

i have one in 223. good shooter but boy is it loud with that short barrel

Is it bad enough you need Earplugs for hunting? Also How many shots until your group opens up?

We have one in 7mm08.We only put about a dozen rounds though it. It shot well and recoil was mild.At 100yds it held about a 2" group.We let the barrel cool between shots.
