It won't sit in that gun shop very long. A few of us Western elk hunters would give their left arm for one of those. Would work real well in some of our thicker forests.

You may have to buy it and get your questions answered later.

It's blued . Just a word to the wise... Be very leery of it ask to have a gunsmith inspect it and go over it carefully. I have been burnt more than once with Remington Custom guns..The Plus side is it is a beautiful handling big game rifle in a very good caliber.

For once i am with oldelkhuter. my buddy got one and he knew i would want it. i looked it over and really felt like it had been rebarreled. yeah the barrel was stamped rem. but you can buy that barrel. i backed out before doing any research. you can get the sn and call remington and ask they should be able to tell you details on the reciever.
my buddy gave like $600 for the gun. those guns sell for around 1400 i think.
i thought the customs had a gray synthetic stock and my buddys was blued with a black syn.
I would like to have a 350 but in arkansas it's a little overkill.
And besides my 308 in a ss seven works very well.

don't do what i am doing now.. ( kicking myself in my arse ) i passed up two 358win's and one 350rem mag in the past 3 years. wish i never did do that. i would pick it up. it's only another gun and seems to be a very nice round.

Oh yeah you have done sparked my interest in a 350 . i'm gonna see my buddy that had the one i was refering to and see what kind of deal he would give me.

for a 350mag. i would sell off the 308win. like you said it is still in production..

what are you doing with the BLR in 358? <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

Good buy! Sounds like you have a cool little rifle in a great caliber. Maybe if enough people ask, they'll bring the .350 mag. back. If they would make a Rem. Model 7 in .358 Win., I'd buy that too. Oh, well...
