scope problem
I have an old tasco scope on a 7mm and after a few trips to the range, the reticle starts to rotate. I can rotate the scope on the mount so it lines up, but then the windage and elevation knobs aren't on straight. Tasco went belly up so they aren't much help. I found a company online the fixes old tasco scopes, but they want to charge me $30 just to send it to them. Anyone have any ideas, or know where I might be able to find a manual/breakdown of the scope? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

RE: scope problem
My thought is you're due for a new scope. Taking the repair costs, postage, time, effort, downtime, doesn't seem worthwhile. Give it to the kids to play with.

RE: scope problem
I think it's time to put that scope out of it's misery! Look for a new scope...<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

RE: scope problem
Yes my friend it sounds like it's time for a new scope.Since Trashco went belly up I sure wouldn't invest more money in that scope. Tasco have been a cheap and poorly made scopes for a long time.Take the 30.00 that you would spend on repairing it and put it towards a decent scope. You'll be head in a long run.Optics for your rifles are something you shouldn't skimp on.
