which one first?
 

Guys, I have a dilema. Do I get a handgun or an AR-15 style first? I'm looking at the springfield 1911 style and not too sure about the AR make. Suggestions?

P.S. Usually when I find myself in a situation like this, I chose the option of "both". However, being a poor college student, I can't afford to do this. Either one will be mostly for fun.

( Rock river, Armalite etc?) i dont know much about the othr brands myself.

And I'd get the .45! I guess that's because when I was in college, we had room for pistols & their accompanying junk, as well as an indoor range where the handguns could be fired, but not rifles......

Have you considered on of the AR pistols?

A 45 pistol will be your cheapest option.
