.220 Swift

I am offering for sale an as new Ruger 77mkII in .220 swift. This gun is less than a yr old, I think about 7mos now. I got it the day it was bought by an old fellow that brought an old scope w/him and put it on the gun. He shot his box of shells and couldn't get a group of any kind. He was disgusted and offered to sell it to me on the spot and I took it, knowing the scope was the real issue. I brought it home, put an old reliable Tasco 4x16 magIV scope and it shot sub moa w/winchester factory shells. I also picked up a Ruger 77/22hornet that I have fallen in love with. SO...I am going to get rid of the swift as I know it is a sought after caliber. Guns are tools to me and I would rather see them in the hands of someone that will use/appreciate them than to be a Safe Queen, I am no collector.

This gun has had less than 3 boxes of shells through it. It can come w/scope or with factory integral rings only, up to you. There are a couple tiny shallow wood dents on the stock where the old fellow hauled it to the range out of the case and it must have bumped the seat belts. I am certain these will steam out. The metal of course is 100%. This gun has the 3 position safety and lawyer proof trigger that has not yet been touched. It has the sporter wt. bbl, and shoots well under an inch w/factory shells. I have an older set of dies that I can include w/the gun.
I can't get photos right at the moment, but will try to add some soon.

I am asking $575 for the gun and scope, $500 without the scope. Will consider trades. Prefer 1911 style handgun, or Semi Auto Shotgun OEV, Encore BBls/accessories, but will consider other interesting trades of odd calibers or short mags...OR ????

Thanks For Your Interest,
Your Trust means a lot to me.

Dave
