I like Hornady myself. 130 gr I think. I'll have to check.

Bolt action Savage fires 'em. (quite well) ;)

This is off topic, but I have gone back in time 20+ years and started shooting my Marlin 336 30/30 again for my east Texas hunting, but I still shoot either my Encore 300 WSM or Blaser 300 WSM for my NW Oklahoma hunting. The only reason I don't use the 30/30 exclusively is some shots COULD be over 150 yards where I hunt in Oklahoma.

130 grain, Remington Core-Lokt or Winchester Power Points. If all you're after isdeer, you're wasting your money if you're spending it on premium grade bullets. Just get the basic bullets, and spend the money you save on more range time, practicing your marksmanship.

130 grains, Remington Core Lokts shoot just fine, they are an inexpensive round and if practiced with will shoot very small groups at 100 yds. I have a Remington 700 BDL buddied up with a Burris Fullfield II scope and the 130 grainers and it is one deadly combo. I practice out to 400 yds regularly and the core lokts even perform good out at that range. Very good deer rifle.
