Remington Model 30 Exp.
 
I have a chance at a Rem Model 30 Express in 30-06. The rifle is in pretty good shape. what do you guys think?

I've never seen one. I have read about them. They apparently came out after WWI. They were based on the 1917 Enfield action. It was a strong action but the trigger pull was not the best. The shape of the stock made the recoil pretty noticable. I doubt itwasdesigned with a scope in mind. If you are a collector, scarf it up if you can get it at a good price. I think you could do better if you are after a pure hunting rifle.
