Gun color?
 

I'm building a custom hunting gun based on an old German military rifle and I'm wondering what color to make it. I'll be keeping it in the original 8x57 caliber and building it in a scout style (short barrel, LER scope).

I was planning on making it all black but I've also been considering other choices like O.D. green or camo like this gun on the bottom of this page: http://www.mausercentral.com/gungallery21.htm

Would having a gun with camo paint give you an advantage over an all black rifle or would a black gun be just as good in the woods?

I would just pick the color of the 3 that you like best and go with it.
