Anyone have any experience with these shotguns? Are they any good?

yea i got a 20 gauge O/U. i think its pretty nice. i like it a lot

I have one in 12ga O/U. I can't say its a show winner for looks sitting next to a citori but I have embarrasseda few citori's with it. I love mine! I've put probably 75to 80cases (not boxes...cases)of shells through it and I've never had a single problem with it. One of the big advantages of it is I only paid about $400 for it 5 or 6 years ago and if I was to ding it up it would make me fall to my knees crying like it would if I paid $1500 for it. Remington actually has the Baikal brand making their Sparta line of O/U. I've looked at them and they are the exact same gun except they say Remington and Sparta on them.

in my familys collection we have hadseveral Baikal shotguns over the years and they are very high quality. Currently we have and o/u 12 guage and two single shots, one in 12ga. and another in 20ga.

I got a 12 gauge and its great. I have nothad a problem with since ive got it, about a year ago.

I picked up a little 410 sxs last year and found it to work very well. Great for partridge hunting. One thing with mine is the safety goes on every time I reload so I have to keep that in mind when hunting but great shotgun with no regrets...:D

So the .410 SxS is a Baikal? I'm looking at the .20G, and it sure isn't pretty but as one of the fellows just said previously, at least you don't get all bent out of shape if you scratch it and so on. I'm still not sure if I'll make the move. The trigger is giving me action on my little 20G and it just doesn't seem to line up properly when I lift it to shoulder. We'll see I guess.

I double checked before I posted and yes it’s a Baikel. I always wanted a 410 sxs and the opportunity came up that I just couldn’t refuse. This shotgun is a good size for around the house for small critters, no to much noise and no recoil...

I have a 20 ga double that is a joy to carry and shoot. Have used it for pheasants and rabbits and when filled with 6's is deadly. Wish I would have purchased one a long time ago instead of just 3 years lol.

I actually looked at a .28G first. It felt even better than the .20G...a little lighter and different balance. Looking at the local sporting store catalogs though and it seems that .28g shells are very scarce. I think the .410 is more popular. I won't be reloading so the shell's availability is important to me. Ever thought of a coach gun?? It sure would be light and fast!
