Good 25-06 bullet?
What are you guys shooting? I would like something a little bigger than 120 grains. Does anyone make such a thing?

RE: Good 25-06 bullet?
100gr Barnes TSX,ain't no need for anything bigger,it will handle all that a 25-06 is appropriate for hunting and then some!

RE: Good 25-06 bullet?
To my knowledge 120gr is the biggest you can get for the 25.06. If you want something bigger than thatyou should step up to a 270 or a 30.06. My favorite bullet for the 25.06is the 110gr Nosler Accubond. It's very accurate and it's performance on game has been excellent for me.

RE: Good 25-06 bullet?
I have always used the 110 grain nosler and never been disappointed. In my opionion the 25.06 is a great deer setup. Good Hunting

What are you hunting?

RE: Good 25-06 bullet?
I have taken a lot of Mule deer with the 25-06. I have used nothing but the Nosler Ballistic tips. Either the 100 or 115 work equally well.

120 grain speer hotcore. It will flatten anything that you point it at.

RE: Good 25-06 bullet?
When I was shooting a 25-06, I liked the 115 gr. bonded bearclaw. The heaviest bullet I've seen for the 25-06 was a 122 gr. softpoint. I can't even remember who made that one.

RE: Good 25-06 bullet?
I use the 117 gr Hornady SP and love it. Still haven't had one fail to exit a deer yet.
