El Deguellohit a homerun on this one. FN made Mauser action hunting rifles for Sears, Western Auto and others in the late 50's and early 60's. If you can get your hands on one they are cheap cheap and excellent rifles. Most of the ones I've seen were chambered in '06, however, I'm sure there were other calibers as well. The Mauser action has the distinctive rectangular bolt stop on the left side of the action. The actions alone are worth $250. Many had a fully adjustible trigger too. Regards, Rick

Yep, El Duello was Santa Anna's march song during the Texan War for Independece. The band would play it every might in front of the Alamo in order to harrass them.
