NEW SCOPE...NEW RINGS??
I am planning on buying a new scope...leaning toward a Bushnell 3200 and was wondering if I should also buy new rings? I will be putting it on a Savage 110 in 30.06 and presantly have a cheap Simmons on it. Any help would be great thanks in advance....

I believe the bushnell 3200 to be the best scope you can buy in it's price range.I own two 3000's on a couple of my practise rifles and several friends have 3000's and 3200's on their hunting rifles. They seem to hold zero well and none has failed yet. They are also brighter than a similarily priced leupold.I do however use leupold rings and bases on all of my rifles.

From what i have heard the elite 3200's are good scopes. i am looking at putting one on my encore. i was surprised at the clarity and sharpness of the ones i have looked through.
if the rings you have will work no need to change. i don't like weavers but that just me.
