10/22 bases and rings

RE: 10/22 bases and rings
The 'tip-off' mounting rail that I first got with mine way back when was very disappionting. They are common on air guns and stuff, but I don't like them at all.
Go with a Weaver for only a few dollars more and have a MUCH more solid mount with grooves to keep things locked up tight.

RE: 10/22 bases and rings
on my 10-22 im using the base that came with it with leupold rings Ive been using it like this for about 2 years now and have not had any trouble with it. I really cant imagine what kind of trouble you are having with the base that comes with the gun unless you are using the wrong style rings..... could you be a little more specific? maybe I can help you fix whatever problem you are having.

My rings are always on there nice and tight, but after shooting a couple hundred rounds through it the base gets loose and wobbles arouind.
